Dundee United boss Craig Levein has admitted that he is still experimenting to find his first-choice strike pairing this season.

Levein brought in the likes of Warren Feeney, Roy O'Donovan and Francisco Sandaza this summer and has yet to settle on a regular partnership.

He told The Courier: "I am still looking for what will be my ideal partnership up front, but that is natural after bringing so many players in.

"You hope that things work out straight away, but sometimes you need to be patient and try a few different things.

"I know we have quality players, it is just a case of finding the right combination. It is pretty straightforward, whoever does well will get the opportunity to play."
