Dundee United head coach Craig Levein has finally landed the striker he has been hunting for by signing Sheffield United's Jordan Robertson on loan.

The 19-year-old will be at Tannadice until January, when his stay could be extended if he impresses for the Terrors.

Levein said: "A big thing for me was that when I spoke to him he genuinely sounded excited and that's the kind of attitude I love to see.

"He's a big lad, has a bit of pace and can score goals, so I've got high hopes for him.

"I've been looking for a striker for what seems like forever and as time wore on, I've moved towards trying to get a couple of players in."
