Levein lambasts Robson

Dundee United boss Craig Levein hit out at captain Barry Robson after he was sent off in the 1-1 weekend draw at SPL leaders Celtic.

Robson was dismissed late on for an angry clash with Bhoys left-back Lee Naylor, earning his second red card of the campaign for the Terrors.

Levein told The Courier: "Once I've had a proper look at what he's done, I'll consider what, if anything, I'm going to do about it.

"Like a lot of good players he has a fiery streak and he's better now than he was four or five years ago, but it's obviously still in him.

"When things do not go his way he reacts in such a manner that leads him to do something silly and a lot of his bookings are a result of reacting to situations."
