Dundee United have completed the signing of Russell Latapy until the end of the season.
Latapy was released by Rangers in January, but has joined the Tannadice club after being on trial for a week.
Boss Ian McCall said: "I'm delighted to have signed a player of Russell's quality.
"He has played at the highest level for both club and country and has the experience we require as we enter a crucial part of the season."
Latapy spent some time training at Bristol City but the former Trinidad and Tobago international decided he did not want to play in the English Second Division.
United are also hoping to complete a new three-year deal with defender Mark Wilson.
