Kenneth faces lengthy lay-off
12 Nov 2009 - 11:33:58
Dundee United defender Garry Kenneth may not play again until the festive period after tests showed that he suffered muscle damage in his pelvic area during Tuesday's 3-1 friendly win against Dundee.
Kenneth's groin injury is the latest blow for Terrors boss Craig Levein, who was recently told that captain Lee Wilkie will play no more football this year.
He said: "Garry has hurt his groin so could be out for about six weeks. It's a blow with Wilkie also being injured but these things happen."
Meanwhile, teenager Keith Watson played his first game for nearly three years when he featured in the Dark Blues friendly after enduring a series of knee injuries.
