Dundee United goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska is close to making a comeback after missing the opening three months of the season.
The Poland keeper has been out of action since suffering a broken metatarsal injury during the summer, but could be given the green light to return to training before the end of the month.
"Lukasz will go back to see the specialist a week on Monday and we hope he will get the all-clear to start training," said manager Craig Levein.
"If everything goes well, we are now thinking he could be back playing by mid-November."
Meanwhile, fellow Terrors keeper David Robertson is recovering from hernia surgery which will keep him sidelined for up to six weeks.
