Dundee United defender Christian Kalvenes looks set to leave Tannadice at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old Norwegian left-back, whose contract runs out in the summer, has indicated to Terrors' boss Craig Levein that he wishes to return home in the summer.
Kalvenes, who has been in fine form this season, signed from Brann Bergen for £50,000 at the beginning of the 2006-07 campaign.
Levein, who wants to keep Kalvenes at Tanadice, knows he faces a struggle, telling the Daily Record: "He indicated in all likelihood he'd be going home in the summer, so we'll wait and see what happens."
United have recently signed Gretna full-back Danny Grainger, increasing speculation Kalvenes' days may be numbered at Tannadice.
