Dundee United striker Jon Daly will not play again this season after sustaining a knee injury in the 1-1 draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The 24-year-old Irishman had to be replaced late on in the game at Tannadice and boss Craig Levein is waiting to find out the full extent of the problem.
He told The Courier: "Jon landed awkwardly after going up for a ball with Darren Dods.
"The best-case scenario is bone bruising; the worst is ligament trouble. Either way he has played his last game this season."
Daly only joined the Terrors in January from Hartlepool United and has scored twice in 13 appearances for the SPL club.
