Hunt hails super Robson

Dundee United striker Noel Hunt thanked team-mate Barry Robson for his supply line after scoring a hat-trick in the 3-1 CIS Insurance Cup win over Hamilton Academical.

Hunt got on the scoresheet for the first time in seven games, but thanked Robson for helping record a superb treble.

He told The Courier: "Barry is a top-notch player and he could definitely do a job for Scotland. I don't know where that quality comes from elsewhere within the Scottish squad.

"His delivery of balls into the box is fantastic and he'd be a great asset to Scotland. He is outstanding.

"The quality of the balls he put in for me was top-class. I couldn't miss those chances, Barry put them on a plate for me."
