Hunt blow hits Terrors

Dundee United boss Craig Levein has confirmed that in-form striker Noel Hunt will miss the Christmas programme due to an ankle injury. The 23-year-old Irishman had netted five goals in his last five games, but was forced off late on in the 3-2 win at Motherwell last weekend after damaging his left ankle. Levein confirmed: "I don't think we'll need a scan done, but it looks like a twist and some ligament damage. "I would say he will be out for a minimum of two weeks and it could be longer." Hunt joined the Terrors in the summer from Dunfermline Athletic and has netted eight goals in 18 appearances this season.
