Double award for Terrors

Dundee United's Craig Levein and Andy Webster have been named as the SPL Manager and Player of the Month for November respectively.

The Terrors took seven points from nine last month, as they continued to put the heat of the Old Firm duo and Hibernian at the top of the table.

Levein told the Evening Telegraph: "It's nice to get these kind of things and I am particularly pleased for Andy, but what we really want is to be in the running when they are handing out the player and manager of the season awards.

"If you get close to them, it shows you have had a successful year and it would mean we have performed consistently well over the season.

"That kind of consistency is what we are striving for and I am also looking for an improvement both from Andy and the team as a whole."
