Conway blow for Terrors
01 Mar 2007 - 07:18:19
Dundee United will be without Craig Conway for the remainder of the season after the midfielder broke a metatarsal during training.
The 21-year-old has been a virtual ever-present in the Terrors' line-up this season after arriving in the summer from Ayr United, but is unlikely to feature again this season after picking up the injury in a training ground challenge.
"You are talking six or seven weeks minimum with this kind of injury and that's just to get to the point where he can start training again," United manager Craig Levein told the Evening Telegraph.
"After that, it would take another two to three weeks to get him ready for games and that is assuming there are no setbacks.
"Realistically, that means his season is over."
