United start away to St Mirren
Dundee United will begin the new Scottish Premier League season with an away trip to St Mirren on Saturday August 14.[LNB] That is followed by a home clash against newly-promoted Inverness Caledonian Thistle and a tough trip to face Hearts on August 29.[LNB]United will face Hamilton at home on Boxing Day and Aberdeen away on New Year's Day, while the first meeting of the season with one of the Old Firm comes against Rangers at Ibrox on September 18.[LNB]Celtic are the visitors on October 16, with the final fixtures before the split seeing United take on Rangers (a), St Johnstone (h) and Motherwell (a) on April 16.
