Dundee's claim for compensation for the transfer of Zura Khizanishvili to Rangers has been dismissed by an SPL tribunal.
The Dark Blues had claimed a seven-figure fee for the Georgian's services, as he was still under 23 when he moved to Ibrox, but their claims have been rejected outright.
An SPL statement read: "The compensation tribunal established by the SPL to consider Dundee FC's claim for compensation from Rangers FC in respect of the latter's registration of Zura Khizanishvili sat on Friday.
"It heard a number of arguments that Dundee FC was not entitled to any compensation under the rules of the SPL.
"The tribunal held that one of those arguments was well founded.
"In consequence of Dundee FC's failure to comply with these rules, the tribunal dismissed Dundee FC's application for compensation."
