There was a good turnout for tonights questions and answers with the manager and board and scot the ceo.
The manager started off taking the questions before leaving to cast his eye over some players,barry was clinical in what he was saying,and mentioned that rebuilding the scouting system was paramount .and he explained that we never had a chief scout as such,but measures were now well underway to sort that out,he also explained that he was close to bringing a player in last week and will continue to do so,quashie was talked about briefly by the ceo and everything was agreed untill a hitch at the players end slowed things down,however the deal is not dead.
Next up was the ceo who explained that there was an investment of £100,000 today and that he and john brown and billy douglas jnr are busy securing deals with the university and colleges respectively and scott glenday spoke that they will support these guys in achieving what they are setting out to do.
Brief chat of trying to get a glamour friendly set upfor the 50th aniversary,Mark Gallacher then took questions re finance and pointed out that we the fans are the most important catalyst in the equation a point bourne out by scott glenday and also scot gardiner,all in all a very worthwile meeting was the main conscenses and steve martin also explained the youth side of dens and the hope of bringing a business hub to dens park,finally scot mentioned several ideas to keep the money coming in including the dens lottery and other ventures,a big plus was the eagerness to get involved with the schools again,and also a possible very likely link up with a group from saudi,appologies to anyone if i have missed anything and obviously if i have misquoted anyone then feel free to contact me and il ammend asap
