Dundee goalkeeper Derek Soutar is hoping to push Dunfermline towards the SPL exit door this weekend and banish his bad memories of the plastic pitch at East End Park.
Soutar was knocked out during the clash at the home of the Pars earlier this season and is obviously not a fan of their synthetic surface.
He told the Daily Record: "I won't be sorry to see them doing away with that pitch.
"I've never been a fan and getting knocked unconscious just confirmed what I had thought all a long. It's not the kind of surface you play football on and the sooner it goes the better.
"We've got to go there and be as professional as possible and do our jobs.
"But if this weekend is the last time I ever play on a plastic pitch I certainly won't be disappointed."
