Smith earns County contract
otts County have made Dundee United striker Kevin Smith their ninth new signing of the summer following a trial.[LNB] The 23-year-old impressed during his spell with the Magpies and has put pen to paper on a one-year deal.[LNB]Smith's move to Meadow Lane looked to be in doubt last week as he wanted a two-year contract, but the Edinburgh-born frontman has now agreed a 12-month deal.[LNB]County hope to add more new faces to their squad ahead of their first npower League One game of the season against Huddersfield on Saturday.
