Dundee v Falkirk Saturday saw Falkirk visit Dundee for a game that many Dundee diehards thought  would see the demise of Gordon Chisolm. How wong they were Dundee showed great grit and determination. Firstly  Stephen o'donnell had a great effort singley handed saved by Olejnik but the midfielder wasn't to be denied and on 42 minutes produced the perfect finish with a drive from an angled position. The fans joy then turned into exstacy when Riley fired in a second courtesy of a finelooping header. Dundee lost their keeper early in the second half when big Rab was sent off for an apparent goal scoring oppertunity just out side the box,in my opinion it was very harsh on the big keeper. Finnegan was the real threat for Falkirk as they pressed to get back into the game but Dundee held strong and were well worth the full three points and indeed could have increased the leading marginwhen O'donnell hit the woodwork with 3 minutes remaining. McKeown and Weston were superb at the back for the home side, and all in all it was a deserved victory for the home side, hopefully Dundee have now turned the corner the corner after the cup debacles of Stenhousemuir and Brechin,in the space of a week Dundee have shown their very worst and one of their best performaces and if Chis can keep them going on the same traks as Saturdays performance then im sure the debacles of early this season will be forgotten and forgiven, here's hoping anyway. Dundee lined up as follows, Dundee 4 4 2                                               Douglas                               Paton  Mckeown Weston Lockwood                               Riley   Adams  O'Donnell    Harkins                                           Witeveen  Griffiths subs Mcmenemin Higgins Fox                 Ref Collum There was a healthy crowd of over 4,500 inside dens for the game, and being honest i thought it might have been an awful lot less, before the startof the game.
