Adams snatches points for Dundee Jamie Adams struck an 86th-minute winner to secure financially-stricken Dundee a 2-1 win over Partick at Dens Park. Adams slotted into the bottom corner from six yards to give the Dark Blues their first win since being hit with a 25-point penalty. Leigh Griffiths had given Barry Smith's side the lead after 14 minutes with a superb long-range strike. Home goalkeeper Rab Douglas then tipped over Martin Hardie's header two minutes later to keep the lead intact. The Jags did equalise after 57 minutes through Bryan Hodges` effort from just outside the area. But they could not hold on, with Adams securing a win which needs to be the first of many if Dundee are to avoid relegation.
