Dundee have now released 25 of their 70 members of staff after moving into administration, with Jim Duffy's playing squad decimated by the cut-backs.
Duffy has been forced to allow the following to leave Dens Park: Robbie Raeside, Craig Burley, Fabian Caballero, Juan Sara, Fabrizio Ravanelli, Beto Carranza, Mark Robertson, Barry Forbes, Jamie Langfield, Matt Engele, Kris Brash, Colin Boylan, Giorgi Nemsadze, Steve Vanderdeyl, Gavin Beith and Tom Cowan.
Duffy has also lost Kenny Cameron, Kevin Lee and Paul Mathers from his coaching staff.
With the club shipping around £100,000 a week, a downcast Duffy said: "It's a difficult and emotional time and the fact I'm remaining at the club for the time being gives me no consolation whatsoever.
"I'd like to send a message to all football clubs to have a look at their finances and if they are contemplating going into administration to clear some of their debts.
"They should realise how much of a devastating blow it is to people's lives."
