I have been asked numerous times over the past few months what we had planned to mark this momentous feat, and I'm delighted that we're now in a position to announce the details for what we're sure will be a very popular and sought after event".
Guest Speaker for the evening will be Dundee-born former Leeds United and Scotland star Peter Lorimer. Known for having the hardest shot in football, Peter was no stranger to silverware himself during his playing days, having won 2 English First Division Leagues Titles, 2 European Inter-Cities Faires Cups, an FA Cup, and English League Cup as well as appearing in the 1974 World Cup Finals in Germany - where he scored in the group game Vs Zaire - and a European Cup Final. He remains Leeds United's all time top goalscorer with 238 goals in 678 appearances for the Yorkshire club. Being close to the Festive Season- therefore ideal for Christmas nights out with family, colleague or friends - Dundee Football Club expect this event to sell fast and would subsequently ask all interested parties to reserve their place as soon as possible. Tickets for this event will go on sale from The Commercial Department at 9am on Monday 2nd September. Price is £40 per person, which includes a commemorative programme and a 3 course meal.
