United boss confident over new keeper

Dundee United manager Peter Houston is confident that new goalkeeper Radoslaw Cierzniak will prove his worth.

"Rade [Cierzniak] we had in here for ten days training last year. Stevie Banks worked him very hard but he looks a good goalkeeper.

"He looks like a good shot stopper and although I’m expecting a lot from him, we have to be patient as he’s in a new country, a new type of football he's going to be playing."

"He's got a huge opportunity. If he does exceptionally well I think there's an opportunity there for any goalkeeper so hopefully the national manager of Poland will be here to watch him."
