Swanson aims to keep form going

Danny Swanson hopes to continue to show his value to Dundee United as the season comes to a close. Sciatica has limited the 24-year-old midfielder's involvement this season, but he was back to his best on Monday night as United defeated Aberdeen 3-1 at Tannadice to climb to fifth place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League. Swanson, who hopes to continue to play his part after scoring the third following goals by Barry Douglas and Craig Conway, believes United are in the top six to stay. Swanson, who has made 12 appearances this term, said: "I'm quite glad all these games got postponed so now I'm back for most of them. "I don't know how many I'll play in, we'll see what the gaffer (Peter Houston) decides. He's been good with me, he's not rushed me back. "I would like to play, but it's his decision. I'd be quite happy to play every game."
