The announcement of the post-split SPL fixtures, which separates the top six and bottom six in the SPL, came after Sunday's 3-2 win for the Ibrox men over Hibernian at Easter Road which keeps Walter Smith's side a point behind leaders Celtic. Rangers play Hearts on Sunday May 3 while Celtic take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie the previous day. The SPL announced earlier in the week that the last Old Firm game of the season at Ibrox will be played at lunchtime on Saturday, May 9 to try and lessen the tension which surrounds the fixture. Rangers then face Hibs away, then Aberdeen at Ibrox before finishing off the season with a trip to Dundee United. Celtic's last three games see them take on Dundee United at home, Hibs away and Hearts at Parkhead in the last day of the season.
