The Tangerines have endured a series of draws in recent weeks, having shared a point in five of their last 10 league matches but remain firmly in the hunt with weekend opponents Hearts for third spot.[LNB]Levein hopes to mastermind a victory over his former club in order to take United back to the head of the race for places in next season's Europa League.[LNB]The loss of Scott Robertson to long-term injury and Willo Flood's departure to Celtic has robbed United of their engine in midfield but the Tannadice manager remains confident he has the players at his disposal to take the club back to Europe.[LNB]He said: "You can throw up stats about draws but then you look again and we've not lost many games - how far back do you want to go?[LNB]"We're in fourth place with 40 points and there are seven games left to the split. It's not a bad situation to be in, is it?[LNB]"We're not intentionally drawing games, we've been doing our best to win them.[LNB]"Against Aberdeen we went ahead twice and were pegged back and against Inverness we came back from a goal down to win a point.[LNB]"Looking at the form they've been in lately, we're the only team to score against them in four matches so, on reflection, it wasn't a poor result."[LNB]The United boss has talked up the form of Francisco Sandaza following his foot injury, while January signing James Wesolowski is ready to play following his move from Leicester.[LNB]Twelve months ago United ran out of steam in the race for Europe but this year Levein is confident he has a big enough squad to cope with the rigours of the run-in.[LNB]He said: "I'm happy with the way things are going, I look at the training ground and see a lot of positives.[LNB]"We have Fran getting back to his best, James Wesolowski has come in and is getting ready to play and Scott Robertson is making great progress too.[LNB]"So there's plenty to be upbeat about. Last season we went into this period and I felt we could have done with some fresh impetus to push us on a bit.[LNB]"This season we've brought in Paul Caddis, Wesolowski and we'll get Scott Robertson back as well so I think we'll have that boost.[LNB]"Compared to last season I think we're in much better shape so finish the season strongly.[LNB]"I'm relaxed about what we've got available and am confident that we're going to have a good end to the campaign."[LNB]Levein has a doubt over on-loan Celtic player Caddis, while a decision on Wesolowski's participation will be made on Saturday morning. Levein said:[LNB]"Paul has not trained but he thinks he'll be okay so we'll give him time.[LNB]"The same goes for James, I've not made my mind up there either.[LNB]"I usually name my team on a Friday but this week we'll wait until nearer kick-off to assess all the options."[LNB][LNB] Dundee Utd 5/4[LNB], Draw 9/4[LNB], Hearts 9/4[LNB]
