Levein issues warning to Wilkie

Wilkie recently returned to action after months on the sidelines following a knee operation. The 29-year-old was used as a makeshift striker against St Johnstone and had a helping hand in two of their goals in a 3-2 win. However, Andy Webster and Darren Dods have forged a successful pairing at the back and Levein insists Wilkie will need to exercise patience. "Lee will have to be patient because I can't see myself disrupting the back line," explained Levein. "He's a bit unlucky but the lads in there have been doing well. "I've told the boys if they play well when in the team they will stay in the team. They have earned the right to wear the jersey. "It's not an ideal situation for Lee. But I'm sure the big man understands, just like the rest of the lads who are eager to get into the team."
