Jackson feels like a double agent

New Dundee United coach Darren Jackson goes up against former clubs in his first three games as United coach.

“I checked the first three fixtures of my reign as a coach and couldn’t believe they are against Hearts, Celtic and Hibs," he told the Daily Record.

“You couldn’t make it up that it is three of my old clubs.

“But there will be no divided loyalty as I’m a Dundee United man through and through now.

“Every club gets a lift when a new manager comes in but we do not want to get carried away. We got a good start on Saturday and want to carry that on.

“Dundee United are seventh in the league and were maybe suffering from a lack of  confidence but they got a massive boost from winning at home in front of our own supporters against Rangers.

“We have a lot of difficult SPL games coming up and we want to start picking up points on a regular basis especially at home and climbing the table if we can.”
