Injury concerns stack up for United
Midfielder Morgaro Gomis looks set to miss out with a calf problem while there remains a doubt over Scott Robertson (toe).
Striker Danny Cadamarteri missed training this week with a dead leg while Andy Webster sat out several sessions with a groin problem.
Webster is expected to make it, though, and manager Craig Levein will have to choose between skipper Lee Wilkie and Darren Dods as his defensive partner.
Damian Casalinuovo is back at Tannadice following his loan at Raith Rovers and is in line for his first start.
Mark Fotheringham is expected to make his debut after signing a short-term deal with the club.
