John Hughes' men again put on a late show to defeat St Mirren 2-1 on Saturday - and home fans were further boosted post-match with Mark Brown's arrival from Celtic.[LNB]The 28-year-old goalkeeper has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal after his release from Parkhead, but faces a battle for action at Easter Road.[LNB]Hibs triumphed with a last-gasp win at Celtic in midweek and their desire for victory was against evident in the comeback success over the Buddies as they claimed a seventh home win in their last nine matches.[LNB]The Edinburgh side are only two points behind second-placed Celtic, but third is Hughes' target and they now boast a three-point lead over United with a game in hand.[LNB]Murray, whose 92nd-minute cross was turned in by Ross, feels late victories are strengthening their belief and sapping the spirit of United.[LNB]"It's a big psychological boost for us," he said.[LNB]"We are starting to get a wee bit of light between ourselves and Dundee United, which is good because it wasn't that long ago they leapfrogged us.[LNB]"That's two games in a row we have scored in the last minute, it's a great time to net.[LNB]"I just tried to put it in the danger area and hoped someone would get on the end of it. It was the wee bit of luck that you need.[LNB]"We threw caution to the wind a little bit at the end, lost our shape, two at the back basically. It's times like that it can pay off."[LNB]After defeating Hamilton last Saturday, Hibs rounded off the perfect week after Liam Miller cancelled out Sol Bamba's own goal before the late drama.[LNB]"To get nine points out of nine this week is fantastic," added Murray.[LNB]"St Mirren will feel a wee bit gutted because they did okay, but we pressed at the end and it finally paid off."[LNB][LNB]
