Gomis sits out United cup clash
The Senegal ace will not be risked at Victoria Park after contracting a virus and missing last weekend's game against Motherwell.
Scott Robertson will return to the side after suspension and defender Garry Kenneth is also in line to play.
Skipper Lee Wilkie is another manager Craig Levein is considering but he will not make a decision on him until before Tuesday's match.
