Gomis seals United point

Dundee United substitute Morgaro Gomis scored a late wonder strike to give the visitors a share of the spoils against Hearts. In a chaotic week that saw the Tannadice club knocked out of the Europa League by AEK Athens, Gomis struck an unstoppable 25-yard drive high into the net to cancel out David Templeton's first half goal. The equaliser came minutes after Hearts goalkeeper Marian Kello saved Jon Daly's spot-kick. Hearts broke on the counter-attack and took the lead through David Templeton in the 30th minute. Suso Santana raced clear of Garry Kenneth from deep inside his own half before finding Templeton charging into the box. The winger's heavy first touch looked to have narrowed the angle with Dusan Pernis rushing from his line but he slipped a delicate right-footed reverse shot into the corner of the net.
