Dods ruled out for five weeks
Dundee United defender Darren Dods has been ruled out until the new year after undergoing knee surgery.
The 35-year-old centre-back has not played for United since October 2 and will now spend further time on the sidelines.
"Darren will be out for about five weeks," said manager Peter Houston in the Dundee Courier.
"He has had the problem for a while now so it was best he got it sorted out and can now get working towards playing again."
