MacLeod making progress after op

Former Celtic assistant manager and player Murdo MacLeod has regained consciousness after heart surgery.He was taken off the ventilator on Thursday and his family say he is now "doing well". The 51-year-old former Scotland international is recovering from an operation to replace the aortic valve. MacLeod is in the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank after being admitted last week after a period of sudden illness.
