East Stirlingshire moved to within a point of second-place Stenhousemuir in the Third Division with a hard-fought win over Dumbarton. Shire took the lead after just six minutes through Jamie Stevenson's free kick, but Dumbarton replied with a 39th minute shot from Ross Clark. Colin Cramb then netted a second-half penalty after Iain Chisholm handled. With three minutes remaining David Dunn crossed from the left for Andy Rodgers to side-foot home from 10 yards out.
