Dumbarton demolished Elgin City to secure the Division Three title and promotion barring a last-day collapse.The Sons, with a much better goal difference than East Stirlingshire, took the lead with a Derek Carcary drive that beat keeper Andy McNulty. Denis McLaughlin tapped home before Carcary finished after a mazy run then scored from a tight angle.
