Scott Chaplain scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot as Dumbarton overtook Peterhead in a congested Division Two mid-table.Chaplain converted after Roddy Hunter was brought down by Stuart Smith. Peterhead's David Ross saw a great shot pushed on to the crossbar by Jan Vojacek and Graeme Sharp went close with a curling drive that flew wide.
