Sons at full strength

Dumbarton will be at full strength as they bring their season to a close against champions Partick at the Bet Butler Stadium.

There will be a party atmosphere as the Sons celebrate retaining their place in the First Division and Thistle wave goodbye to the SFL, however Dumbarton boss Ian Murray is not letting his players switch off.

Murray said: "If we win and Raith Rovers lose then we climb up another place and to finish sixth would be a tremendous achievement. Thistle will also be out for a piece of revenge as we beat them 2-0 in the last meeting here and that result gave us a lot of confidence.

"We can enjoy the game with no more pressure on us than looking for a win."

Partick will hand a debut to on-loan Celtic goalkeeper Glenn Daniels as Scott Fox has picked up a thigh knock.

Aaron Muirhead returns from his four-game ban but the Jags miss Stephen O'Donnell (ankle), Hugh Murray (ankle), Paul Paton (knee), Sean Welsh (groin) and James Craigen (knee) with Steven Craig unlikely to feature after being told that he was being released by the Jags earlier this week.

Manager Alan Archibald said: "We have gone 17 games now without defeat and I do not want that to end just because everything has been decided.

"Finishing on 80 points would be a great achievement as well and of course our last defeat was at Dumbarton so it would be good to make up for that."
