Sons target back-to-back wins

Dumbarton will be without Nicky Phinn due to a calf injury as they look for their second successive victory when the Championship's bottom club Livingston visit the Bet Butler Stadium.

Steven McDougall looks set to be available to manager Ian Murray after an ankle knock, with the Dumbarton boss reminding his players that hard work will be key to any success.

Murray explained: "We won at Alloa last weekend due to a really hard-working performance from everyone. We cannot let that work-rate go down as the only way we will get enough wins to have a successful season is with that approach."

Recently-appointed Livingston manager John McGlynn takes his side to Dumbarton and Marc McNulty looks set to miss out due to a hamstring injury.

Keaghan Jacobs' comeback after nine months out with a knee problem will continue on the bench with McGlynn looking forward to his first-ever game against the hosts.

McGlynn said: "I never taken a side against Dumbarton so this is a first for me. I am also looking forward to the game as I have spent my first full week working with the players.

"I know them better and they know the way I want us to play better so hopefully we can get a win."
