Sam Stanton misses out against parent club Hibs
Dumbarton are unable to include on-loan Hibs midfielder Sam Stanton when the Edinburgh league leaders arrive.
Injuries rule out Frazer Wright (ankle), Garry Fleming (ankle) and Andy Stirling (knee).
Manager Stephen Aitken said: "We did really well against Hibs at home last season where we picked up six points and it would be terrific to secure another win. They have quality players throughout their squad and we are massive underdogs but we enjoy that tag.
"However we know that our form dipped at Stranraer last weekend and we need to get it back to a high level if we are to have a chance of getting the win."
Hibs expect Jason Cummings to shake off a knock picked up on Scotland Under-21 duty and be ready to face the hosts.
Marvin Bartley is also expected to be available after a back problem, but the injured Dylan McGeouch (hamstring) and Danny Handling (knee) remain out.
Manager Neil Lennon said: "We had good momentum before the international break and will look to get back to get that going again however we cannot be complacent.
"This game is dangerous and we cannot just turn up and think the points will be handed over. We have to play as well as we have in our other league games to get the win."
