Dumbarton seal point with comeback

Dumbarton came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw at Brechin.

The home side went ahead on the half-hour mark when Paul McManus converted Jonny Lindsay's cross from close range.

Jim Weir's men doubled their lead four minutes later, Ewan Moyes heading Garry Brady's free-kick towards goal before Rory McKenzie fired an overhead kick past Dumbarton goalkeeper Stephen Grindlay.

The Sons came back into the game in the 57th minute when Bryan Prunty struck his 14th goal of the season from the penalty spot after the striker had been brought down by Lindsay.

Scott Agnew then completed the comeback in the 73rd minute when he found the top corner with a stunning 25-yard free-kick.

Agnew thought he had earned his side all three points four minutes from time when he let fly from distance, but Craig Nelson made a good save to keep the scores level.
