McStay shines for Sons Dumbarton eased their relegation worries as they moved off the foot of the table with a 3-2 win at Alloa. Patrick Walker put Dumbarton in the lead with a tap-in from close range and Jon McShane doubled his side's advantage in the 57th minute, converting Mark Gilhaney's right-wing cross. Alloa midfielder Kevin Motion reduced the arrears in the 64th minute with a 20-yard free-kick which flew into the bottom corner and Bryan Prunty drew his side level in the 70th minute when he headed James Lister's right wing cross into the bottom corner from six yards. However, Ryan McStay sealed the win for Dumbarton just four minutes later when his 20-yard drive flew into the bottom corner.
