Doncaster Rovers have strengthened their hand by signing midfielder Mark Wilson on a short-term deal.
The former Manchester United youngster has been attempting to resurrect his career in English football since leaving American Major League Soccer side FC Dallas in the summer.
The 27-year-old failed to win a contract with Bradford City after a recent loan spell but has agreed a two-month deal with Rovers.
"Mark is a player with experience at the highest level and has come in with lots of qualities," assistant manager Richard O'Kelly told the club's official website.
"He has a hunger and desire that has impressed us all. He's got an incentive to earn a longer contract and, in a world of uncertainty, to sign someone of his experience and ability at this point in the season is very rare."
