Walker ready for special year

Rovers' director of football has been at the club throughout the meteoric rise from non-league to the Championship in last 10 years. His testimonial will be at the Keepmoat Stadium against Wolves on 1st August and there will be events throughout the year but Walker told the Rovers' website that he doesn't want the season to be about him. He said: "It is going to be an exciting year ahead. I want the fans to enjoy it with me, I don't want it to be about me. My thoughts when I came were to give everything I could to this family club. Now we have got a fabulous set-up and fanbase. "Maybe I'll stay another 10 years if they'll have me."
