Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has decided to bring Preston North End midfielder Brian Stock back to Belle Vue for a second month on loan.

The 24-year-old returned to Deepdale last weekend when his initial month's loan deal expired but he is now set to continue his Rovers career by playing in this weekend's League One clash with Chesterfield.

Stock played under O'Driscoll at Bournemouth before moving to Deepdale in January.

He made over 160 appearances for the Cherries but has struggled to hold down a regular first-team spot at Preston, starting only five Championship games for the club.

Stock scored once in eight appearances for Rovers during his first month at the club.
