Stock excited to be back

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Brian Stock was delighted to have made his first appearance in more than two months in the 4-3 victory over Scunthorpe United.

The 28-year-old Wales international made a surprise start against the Iron and lasted just over an hour as he stepped up his recovery from a back problem.

He told the club's official website: "I feel absolutely great.

"It is this sort of thing that actually gets my back going and gets it stretched, so it is a beneficial thing for me to play longer.

"I expected to play 20 minutes or half hour at the most, so to get 60 minutes in and to get a bit of fitness - it's what I needed."
