Stock: Recovery is on track

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Brian Stock is confident that his recovery from a long-term ankle injury remains on track.

The 27-year-old Wales international has not featured for Rovers since mid-September and was forced to go under the knife to correct his problem.

He told the Sheffield Star: "My rehab is going really well and the physio is going to try to step things up a tiny bit.

"It has been frustrating, but it has given me the chance to get my back 100 per cent. It has also given me the chance to build my strength up.

"Working with the fitness coach has really helped me and I've put on two kilograms, maybe a little bit more and it's all muscle.

"People might say that, what with the back and the ankle, I've had a bad time with injuries over the last 18 months. But I've not missed that many games - particularly last season."
