Sharp sits out Keepmoat clash

Published: 19 Mar 2010 - 09:19:00

Sharp, who has scored 15 goals for Rovers since arriving on a season-long loan in September, is not available for Sean O'Driscoll, who is expected instead to hand a start to James Hayter. O'Driscoll has several selection headaches as key players return to full fitness following injury. Central defender Adam Lockwood is pushing for his place back in the starting line-up after a foot injury, while Shelton Martis and Sam Hird were partnered together for the midweek win at Peterborough. Defender James O'Connor and midfielder Mark Wilson are also hoping to return after dropping to the substitutes' bench on Tuesday night. Rovers, unbeaten in their last five Championship matches, could close to within one point of the play-offs with victory over the Blades, who lie one place and a point above their rivals.
