Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Darren Byfield after landing the experienced striker on a free transfer. The 29-year-old marksman has agreed a two-year contract at the Keepmoat Stadium after being released by Bristol City at the end of last season. The former Millwall, Gillingham, Rotherham and Walsall frontman scored eight times in 33 appearances during his one season at Ashton Gate. "I'm delighted to have signed and I'm really looking forward to it," he told the club's official website. "Donny being in the Championship is a big thing and, with the football that is being played here, I wanted to be a part of it."
