Rovers win O'Driscoll plaudits

Manager Sean O'Driscoll was full of praise for his players after Doncaster Rovers won 2-1 at home to Derby County.

The victory lifted Rovers ten points clear of the drop zone, having won eight of their last ten Championship outings.

O'Driscoll said: "We took some positives from the Swansea defeat in a sense, we looked at some of the things that they did, we thought we could do better in our game.

"I thought we did that today, we were nice and patient, moved it from side to side - which Swansea do very well and on a difficult pitch - against a team that's come here to stifle the game. I thought our application was excellent.

"Even when we went a goal down, nobody's head dropped, we just got on with it and cranked up the pressure a little bit.

"We got a goal back that I thought we deserved anyway and then Mark Wilson scored the winner."
