On-loan defender Matthew Mills has been forced to leave Doncaster Rovers and return to Manchester City after suffering an injury.
The 21-year-old has gone back to Eastlands for treatment after suffering a torn cartilage and is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks.
Mills joined Rovers at the beginning of the season and scored twice in 18 appearances for Sean O'Driscoll's side.
The former Southampton trainee has made two first-team appearances for City and also spent a two-month loan spell with Colchester United earlier this year.
